Mobile Business Systems Specialist RIPTec Appoints Spanish Distributor

Distributor targets Spain’s three million small businesses for the new mobile AstonPhone London, June 21, 2016: Business communications specialist RIPTec today announces the appointment of Madrid-based Aston Comunicaciones as Spanish distributor of its disruptive communications smartphone app. The distributor will introduce to the market a vanilla version of RIPTec’s core product to be branded AstonPhone.

The way that small businesses communicate is changing and RIPTec’s mobile software is proving a game changer for small businesses around the world. The days when micro businesses had to make deep investments in traditional office telephone systems to communicate with customers and suppliers are disappearing and being replaced by products such as AstonPhone that provide all the features of full blown office PBX systems, but are more flexible and intelligent.

“AstonPhone has the potential to become the preferred business communications system for small and medium businesses in Spain and cost savings will be the driver,” says Iñaki Miquélez de Mendiluce, Aston Comunicaciones’ Director General. “Be it small hotel owners, road warriors, insurance agents … whatever the business, all can use the AstonPhone as a better way to interface with customers and suppliers.” Mark Trowbridge, RIPTec’s CEO, adds: “Aston Comunicaciones has deep roots in the Spanish telecoms market and the expertise and resources to change the way that national businesses can better communicate and at less cost. We welcome Aston to the growing family of RIPTec international distributors.” The new AstonPhone allows Android and iOS smartphone owners to use their personal devices for business and personal use. Employees no longer need to carry two phones for business and personal use or use their personal phones when calling customers. Each AstonPhone contains a personal number for private use and the registered office business number and extension to make or receive calls from customers.

AstonPhone provides users many features including voicemail, auto attendant, call transfer, call forwarding and call recording. A further stand-out feature is the ability to make mobile payments such as buying a coffee or petrol.

Existing numbers can also be transferred to AstonPhone quickly and the system is scalable enabling new contacts to be added into the mobile office system with a few clicks.

No capital investment is needed by businesses whatsoever, allowing telecoms budgets to be allocated elsewhere in the business. The AstonPhone can be used outside Spain and connects instantaneously to that country’s GSM network or Wi-Fi zones.

AstonPhone users have a number of highly-competitive post-paid pricing plans for voice and data ranging. A basic AstonPhone license costs 6,99€/month and additional landlines or mobiles 8,99€/month. Calling rates is Spain are 0,1622€/minute to landlines and 0,03120 €/minute to miles. There is no connection charge. After the first minute, calls are charged on a per second basis.
