Jericho Systems Joins F5's Technology Alliance Partner Program

Through the partnership, customers benefit from a combined solution that maximizes the value of deploying the companies' products together.

While F5 customers benefit from leveraging these legacy systems with BIG-IP LTM to deepen secure access capabilities, these customers still do not have the advanced functionality to parse documents, encrypt or redact sensitive information, and re-label the documents to demonstrate compliance with certain statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements for protecting privacy and securing sensitive information. By adding Jericho Systems' EntrSpace®, these customers can now extend BIG-IP LTM's powerful SSL offload and iRules® capabilities to operate as an Authentication Gateway (News - Alert) Service (AGS) and a Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) with EnterSpace next generation ABAC with Data Labeling and Data Segmentation (DLDS™). This adds to BIG-IP LTM the ability to tag (News - Alert) and label data segments within documents as well as protecting sensitive information within these segments, in real-time, for each transaction request. Context-aware policies allow customers to redact (remove), mask (encrypt), and anonymize (substitute) data before it is delivered by BIG-IP LTM to the requesting party. Data Segmentation is a crucial component for enabling defense in depth for data at rest and in motion. This provides the customer an Authentication and Authorization Service (AAS) that incorporates privacy protecting fine-grained content filtering/security trimming access control for enterprise cloud and mobile services.

The key differentiator for organizations using the joint solution is the cost-effective ability to efficiently manage the flow and security of information within the enterprise and with external partners. Combining EnterSpace and BIG-IP LTM enables the customer to leverage existing IT infrastructures while preserving organizational autonomy to enhance secure information sharing within the organization and with its partners.
