NEC Awards Top Performers at Annual Channel Partner ConferenceNEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading technology integrator of advanced IT, communications and networking solutions, today announced key award recipients recognized at its Advantage Executive Conference held May 18-20 at the Marriott Sawgrass Resort in Ponte Vedra, Florida, just outside of Jacksonville. The conference attracts top NEC channel partners and industry consultants from North and South America who learn of the latest product and service developments with hands-on demonstrations and exhibits. The Advantage event has been the company's top partner event for more than 20 years and is highly anticipated by NEC integrators and consultants. This year's theme was Discover the Power of the Smart Enterprise, which focused on solutions that improve the way people live, work and communicate. Attendees attended a range of sessions on NEC's Smart Enterprise based approach to UC solutions and live product demonstrations. Smart Enterprise provides an IT communications infrastructure that allows companies to have a more predictive business that they can operate at a lower cost and empowers them to be more competitive. The event showcased a number of new solutions and enhancements to the NEC portfolio including the recently introduced UNIVERGE BLUE expanded cloud-based services and smart technology solutions for healthcare, hospitality and government.
