NoviFlow Announces the NoviSwitch 2150 and the NoviSwitch 21104 High Performance Access Switches for SDN, NVF and OpenFlow 1.3 and 1.4NoviFlow Inc., a leading provider of high-performance OpenFlow-based switching solutions, today announced the NoviSwitch 2150 and NoviSwitch 21104. The new switches extend the company's high-performance OpenFlow data plane solutions to include access switches for deployments requiring higher port densities; in this case 50 and 104 Ethernet link ports, with full support for OpenFlow 1.3 and OpenFlow 1.4, and offering up to 240 Gbps of packet throughput (240 Gbps in and 240 Gbps out) - up to 1 million flow-entries in TCAM and 15 million exact-match flow entries in DRAM. The new solutions are available for ordering now. NoviFlow will be demonstrating its Scale-Out BGP Router solution live at CommunicAsia 2016, May 31st to June 3rd 2016, at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and invites all interested parties to come visit us at booth BH3-08. The NoviSwitch 2150 offers two 40 Gbps QSFP+ transceiver cages and forty-eight 1 Gbps SFP transceiver cages, and a 10/100/100Mbps base-T Ethernet port version is also being made available. The NoviSwitch 21104 offers four 40 Gbps QSFP+ transceiver cages and one hundred 10/100/100Mbps base-T Ethernet ports. Both switches offer an enhanced TCAM option, and feature the market leading Mellanox (News - Alert)/EZchip NP-5 Network Processor, as well as a powerful Intel Core i7-4700EQ quad-core 2.4GHz host CPU with the processing capacity to deliver up to 40,000 flow-mods/second.
