Scheduling Your Rhode Island Road Test Just Got Easier

A new service from www.ri.gov, the official state website for the State of Rhode Island, allows residents to schedule their road test with the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles (RI DMV) in order to receive their state driver's license.

Users are now able to log into the road test scheduler by following the online services link on the RI DMV website at www.dmv.ri.gov or by going directly to the URL, https://www.ri.gov/app/dmv/road_tests/. Once on the home page, residents are prompted to enter a license permit number, their birth date, and ZIP code. After authentication, users may schedule or reschedule their road test and pay for their appointment by credit card; VISA, MasterCard (News - Alert), and Discover are all accepted. If help is needed, residents are encouraged to email the RI.gov help desk at [email protected] or to complete the online feedback form on the RI DMV website at http://www.dmv.ri.gov/feedback/index.php.

This service was made possible through collaboration between the RI DMV and Rhode Island Interactive (RII), the company providing Rhode Island's digital government services via www.ri.gov. To learn more about RII, a subsidiary of NIC (News - Alert) Inc., please visit its website at www.rhodeislandinteractive.com.
