RSA's Christine Bufalini Named to Power 100 in CRN's 2016 Women of the Channel

BEDFORD, Mass., May 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE:EMC), announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Christine Bufalini, director, Americas Field and Global Channel Marketing at RSA, to its list of the 2016 Power 100, an elite subset of its prestigious annual Women of the Channel list. This list identifies an exclusive group of channel influencers drawn from the larger pool of CRN's 2016 Women of the Channel and identifies them as among the most powerful women leaders across IT channel organizations whose expertise and vision have positioned their companies for success.

CRN's editorial team selects the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. Only the most influential of the list's constituents are selected for the Power 100, each singled out for her unique role in the advancement of her own organization and the IT channel at large.

Bufalini has worked at RSA and EMC for more than 13 years, rising to director of Global Channel Operations in 2013 and taking over RSA's Americas Field and Global Channel Marketing duties in 2015. Over the past year she has led an effort to partner with Global Service Providers to deliver a cohesive Managed Services offering to customers for RSA's ASOC portfolio.

This is Bufalini's second time being named to the CRN Power 100 and her fifth placement on the CRN Woman of the Channel list. CRN also named her a 2015 CRN Channel Chief, honoring executives who consistently promote and execute best-in-clas channel partner programs.

"These executives have made a lasting mark on our industry—growing and elevating partner programs, leading transitions to new business models and introducing cutting-edge go-to-market strategies, among other remarkable achievements." said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "We congratulate all the 2016 Women of the Channel and celebrate their singular contributions to the advancement of the channel ecosystem."

"This prestigious honor showcases the focus and energy RSA devotes to the channel," Bufalini said. "Through the RSA SecurWorld Partner Program, partners receive greater incentives based on performance, and we have a renewed emphasis on training to ensure our partners are an extension of RSA. This means allowing them to have the enablement and capabilities they need to succeed and nurture their customers. We're seeing the benefits, and we look forward to continued innovation in our channel programs."

The 2016 Women of the Channel and Power 100 lists will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc2016.
