Finn Partners' Technology Practice Showcases Growth in Supply Chain/Logistics Tech Sectors

NEW YORK, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Finn Partners, a leading global communications agency, today announced new clients and an expanded team in the fast-growing supply chain and logistics technology and services sectors. The new team, led by Partner Casy Jones, was selected as the agency of record for Radial (formerly eBay Enterprise) and was chosen by AFN Logistics for an initial engagement with the potential for further work. Additionally, the new team, which has already been servicing a strong portfolio of clients in this area, will be housed within Finn Partners Technology, the agency's largest practice group with over 100 employees worldwide.

The assignment from Radial focuses on oversight and management of the company's full spectrum of media relations activities as well as digital and social media support, including a targeted PPC campaign and website audit. Finn Partners began its communications work with Radial by assisting the company with its combination with Innotrac and April 2016 rebrand from eBay Enterprise to Radial.

After a competitive review, Finn Partners was selected to provide communications counsel for AFN Logistics, including strategic guidance, proactive media relations, executive communications, strategic awards and competitive share of voice monitoring.

For both client wins and as needed, the new supply chain and logistics team will call upon resources from multiple other practices including digital, CSR, public affairs, consumer and crisis management.

"Supply chain and logistics have become more complex and intertwined with business performance, competitive advantage, brand perception, and pressing global issues, such as fair working practices and environmental responsibility. And, as the economy has globalized, supply chain has risen to the C-suite as a strategic business imperative," said Casy Jones, Partner, Finn Partners. "The team's deep domain knowledge allows us to be a true strategic partner to our clients – not only providers, but retailers and manufacturers themselves as they grapple with new communications challenges and opportunities surrounding their supply chains," said Jones.

Finn Partners, now including Horn Group, helps clients throughout the global comerce ecosystem – planning, sourcing, manufacturing, fulfillment, global logistics and transportation through to retail, eCommerce and last mile delivery. Companies in these markets are coming to Finn Partners for help in reaching audiences across all paid, earned, shared and owned content marketing and communications channels. Impacts can range from brand building and reputation management for manufacturers and retailers to awareness, effective market positioning, thought leadership and lead generation for providers.

Clients in these sectors currently include industry leaders such as DHL and fast emerging brands such as Trax Technologies. Of the agency's past clients and together with Horn Group, Finn Partners has supported nearly half through acquisition by larger companies. A partial list of past clients include ARC Advisory Group, AMR Research (now Gartner), the American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS), Exel Logistics (now DHL), E2open, Kinaxis, NOL/APL Logistics, PeopleSoft (now Oracle), Red Pepper Software, TradeBeam (now Aptean), Transplace, and Wonderware.

"Global commerce is rising dramatically, and businesses must apply a step change of focus, strategy and technology enablement to their supply chains to be successful," said Greg Kefer, vice president of marketing at GT Nexus. "For five years, Finn Partners has helped us deliver this message to the market, and I believe their efforts not only aided our business growth but also helped to raise the overall profile of supply chain management to a level of strategic importance among the C-suite."

"There is a heightened need among businesses adjusting to the rise of eCommerce coupled with challenges of achieving business continuity on global levels," said Sabrina Horn, Managing Partner, US Technology Practice, Finn Partners. "Supply chain is at the center of all that. It's not just manufacturers and retailers that need to innovate against these issues and tell their stories, the whole ecosystem of supporting technology and services providers must articulate how they can help."
