Cascades Technologies, inc. Names Colonel (Ret.) Jose A. Rivera as Director of Corporate Strategy

HERNDON, Va., May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cascades Technologies, inc. (CTi), a leader in IT Governance, Technical Solutions, and Project Management, announces that Colonel (Ret.) Jose A. Rivera has joined CTi as its new Director of Corporate Strategy.  Mr. Rivera will be responsible for leading market assessments, business growth strategies and the alignment of portfolio capabilities with corporate business objectives.

Prior to joining CTi, Mr. Rivera was Director of Cyber Strategy for Chugach Government Solutions, developing the company's capabilities and qualifications in the cyber realm.  Before that, he served for over 25 years as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force in the communications/cyber and political military affairs officer career fields at squadron, group, wing, major command, air staff, unified and combined command levels.  His last military posting was Deputy Director of Cyber Operations, eadquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Wash DC.

Rivera holds an Engineering degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez and a Master's Degree in National Resources Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University, Washington, DC.
