NEW YORK, April 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ESSEC Business School innovates by connecting its two Paris, France campuses. The goal is to bring all of its 4,800 students and 5,000 participants in continuing education a more personalized information delivery for more comfort and safety.

This contract provides a complete solution of the Social Retail® Platform, supported by the iBeacon® technology and interface with ERP tools from ESSEC.

Today, emailing and SMS invade our smartphones and pollute our inbox, their effectiveness is not what it used to be. Therefore, the Social Retail® Platform makes sense and has been chosen by ESSEC to communicate with its students and faculty relevant, targeted and non-intrusive information in real time.

ESSEC can communicate with its students on the absence of a teacher, a schedule change or the location of a classroom. The "Social Retail Campus" platform also allows geo-guidance and location, and provides auto-attendance roll of a class based on scheduled attendance.

The "Social Retail Campus" platform required more than 6 months of development, bringing together low energy GPS "Bluetooth" innovations and patents, through the real-time connection with the ERP of ESSEC, to provide accurate information and customized daily student schedules (hour and classroom) and alerts. This platform also allows to imagine a multitude of other services, such as tools to disseminate safety messages in case of emergency or evacuation.

This new service offered as a world premiere by ESSEC, shows the school's ability to offer innovative services as well as the reactivity of Digital Social Retail to address a new challenge.
