Grandstream Releases a New IP PBX Appliance for Beta Testing


Grandstream Networks, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning SIP unified communication solutions, is releasing a new IP PBX (News - Alert) appliance for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. The device to be tested will be one model within an upcoming new series of IP PBX appliances by Grandstream. This new addition to Grandstream's IP PBX offering features an upgrade in processor and memory to the current UCM6100 series and will feature 3 different capacity options to offer a full new series of IP PBXs. Grandstream is looking forward to gathering feedback from beta testers to help fine tune this innovative new device before its official launch in the market.

For this beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers with extensive experience with IP PBX technology and previous IP PBX and IP Phone (News - Alert) deployments. Most significantly, the Beta club is looking for testers with inventive ideas that can help redefine the unified communications market. Grandstream will be selecting the most skilled and experienced testers available. Anyone interested is encouraged to apply.



The product being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is an enterprise-grade IP PBX appliance, running on Asterisk (News - Alert) 13. This IP PBX supports up to 800 users, up to 50 concurrent SIP calls and up to 25 WebRTC calls (other models in the series will support up to 100 concurrent SIP calls and up to 50 concurrent WebRTC calls). The device also features dual-core 1GHz high performance application processor, dedicated DSP array for voice processing, 1GB RAM (News - Alert), 4GB NAND Flash, 2 Gigabit network ports with PoE, 2 FXO PSTN ports and 2 FXS analog phone port. 50 (fifty) units of this product will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by mid-April, 2016.

Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is open to anyone and is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
