The MegaVideo Flex, a unique and highly flexible compact megapixel camera, received a Govies award as winner of the "Video Surveillance Cameras HD (megapixel)" category.

The true day/night MegaVideo Flex camera series offers a cost-effective security solution for installations that require a more flexible and cmpact design than other professional security cameras can deliver. Due to its small footprint, the MegaVideo Flex easily fits into a wide range of areas and settings, such as in ATMs (automated teller machines) and other tight spaces. These stylish indoor/outdoor cameras feature a choice of 1.2MP, 1080p, 3MP, and 5MP resolution choices and up to two optional IR illuminators.

Arecont Vision also received a Govies award in the "Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies" category for the recently released multi-sensor SurroundVideo Omni G2.

The ground-breaking design offered by the SurroundVideo Omni camera series includes the ability to easily move each of the remote-focus sensors around the magnetic, 70+ placement-point omnidirectional track and multiple lens options. The newest SurroundVideo Omni is the G2, which adds 3-axis gimbals for an increased range of sensor motion for further user customization of the field of view, and delivering faster frame rates than previous models.

1105 Media, the publisher of GovSec, Security Products, and SecurityToday.com assembles an independent panel of judges from the security industry assembled each year for the Govies awards. Both Govies were presented in an award ceremony held in the Arecont Vision booth today at the ISC West Expo, April 6th. Brad Donaldson, Vice President, Product Development received the awards on behalf of the company.
