Arbor Networks to Provide Industry Expertise at the 2016 Cloud Security Horizons Summit


Arbor Networks Inc., the security division of NETSCOUT (NASDAQ: NTCT), today announced that the company will be participating in the 2016 Cloud Security Horizons Summit being held March 31-April 1 in New York City. Arbor Networks (News - Alert) Senior Product Manager for DDoS Scott Iekel-Johnson and Senior Consulting Engineer Serhat Atli will be serving as industry experts alongside academia and analysts discussing current challenges and best practices in cloud security.

The Cloud Security Horizons Summit series is organized by computer science faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell Tech, Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The series is funded by the National Science Foundation via a grant to the faculty to conduct research into cloud security.

Discussions during this year's event will cover topics such as new cyber security threats, hurdles to the globalization of cloud deployments, tenant security for infrasructure-as-a-service, what tenants need from cloud operators, cloud-based security for machine learning, and cloud deployments as they relate to security for the Internet of Things.
