CTA Tech Week to Celebrate Innovation, Public Policy and Tech Visionaries

WHAT:

Consumer Technology Association Tech Week, produced by the
Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM,
will highlight cutting-edge technologies and some of today's most
influential public policy and business leaders who are fueling our
nation's innovation economy. Designed to celebrate innovation and
educate policymakers, CTA Tech Week includes CES (News - Alert) on the Hill,
Lobby Day, and the Digital Patriots Dinner.

CES on the Hill, an invitation-only event, returns to the
nation's capital on Tuesday, April 19, kicking off CTA Tech Week.
Exhibitors will demonstrate to members of Congress, key
congressional staff and media some of the innovative and
disruptive technology at the center of today's top tech policy
debates. The innovation on display will underscore how technology
is changing the world and fueling our nation's economy and job
growth.

|
CTA members will conduct their annual Lobby Day on
Wednesday, April 20 to provide policy makers with a first-hand
account of the real world impacts of their policy decisions. The 12th
Annual Digital Patriots Dinner will be held Wednesday evening.
The dinner recognizes the achievements of government and industry
leaders who advance innovation in consumer technology and support
a legal and regulatory framework that allows the industry to
flourish. This year's award recipients will be announced in the
coming weeks.

On Thursday, April 21, CTA will host a workshop and reception for
the DC startup community at 1776 Crystal City. Co-sponsored by the
Crystal City Bid, the night will kick off with the workshop, How
to Pitch to the Media….and do it Right, where startups
will learn how to position their company and products to the
media, followed by reception. This event is open to startups only.
