SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Future plc, the international media group and leading digital business, has today announced Darren Murph as the Global Editor-in-Chief of their market-leading tech website techradar.com.

Darren has a 10-year history in global media and marketing, having previously served as the Managing Editor at Engadget (2006-2013), hiring and training over 20 members of the editorial team, doubling their traffic, quadrupling their live coverage as well as co-developing Engadget Expand and becoming the Official Online News Source and publisher of the 'Best of CES awards'. He went on to become Senior Vice President of Editorial Strategy at Weber Shandwick (2013 – 2015). Darren will officially join the team on 1st March and will be based in Future's New York office.
