Defense Technology Inc. Awarded a Counter Narcotics and Global Threats - Operations and Logistics Contract

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Defense Technology Inc. (DTI) announced today that it had been awarded a CN&GT Operations and Logistics contract as part of the International Tactical Solutions (ITS) team. ITS is a joint venture company created by Defense Technology Inc., Kord Technologies Inc. and ISP LLC.

The U.S. Air Force CN&GT Operations and Logistics contract is a multi-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle.  It has a current award cap of $975M and a duration of 9 years. The program mission is to provide services, equipment, material and minor construction and repair services to improve the capability of US and partner nation operational and logistics organizations.

DTI also announced that in Januay 2016 they were awarded a contract with the U.S. Special Forces Command to provide non-standard arms, ammunition and missiles. This contract is a Basic Ordering Agreement with a period of performance of 5 years.
