Silicon Valley Forum Welcomes Nest Founder Tony Fadell to Their Third Annual Visionary Salon

The third annual Visionary Salon is on its way, and Silicon Valley Forum (SVForum) is delighted to announce their 2016 guest of honor will be Tony Fadell, Founder and CEO of Nest and 2015 Visionary Awards honoree. Fadell will be interviewed on stage by Kevin Surace, CEO of Appvance and Chair of Silicon Valley Forum's Board of Directors. The Salon will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd, at The University Club of Palo Alto (News - Alert); Silicon Valley Forum is proud to welcome Accenture as partners of this exclusive event.

"We are both honored and delighted to have Tony Fadell join us for the 2016 Salon," stated Denyse Cardozo, Executive Director of Silicon Valley Forum. "It's our privilege to host an occasion like this one-an exclusive, intimate evening in which to be inspired by a great thinker and leader in Silicon Valley."

"It's an honor to share the stage with Tony," said Kevin Surace. "It's also an opportunity to explore the mind behind Nest, find out what makes the Father of the iPod tick, and dig deep to cull out Tony's secrets-that we can all use to run our companies better. I'm looking forward leading the conversation and being inspired by it, as well."

"Accenture (News - Alert) is excited to partner with Silicon Valley Forum on this year's Visionary Salon," stated Jitendra Kavathekar, Managing Director of Accenture Open Innoation. "Tony's accomplishments as an entrepreneur and tech pioneer both align with and underscore our philosophy at Accenture-that innovative technology can transform the world."

About the Visionary Salon:

The Visionary Salon is part of Silicon Valley Forum's long-standing Visionary Awards series, where exceptional individuals are chosen to be honored for their achievements and extraordinary vision. Each year at the Salon, a previous Visionary Award honoree is invited to return to the stage for an intimate conversation with another Silicon Valley leader. Featuring a wine reception and elegant dinner, the Salon provides attendees with an opportunity to enjoy an illuminating discussion on innovation and leadership.

Previous Visionary Salon guests have included Ray Kurzweil (interviewed in 2014 by Steve Jurvetson of DFJ) and Reid Hoffman (News - Alert) (interviewed in 2015 by Chris Yeh of PBWorks).

Attendance at the Visionary Salon is limited to provide a more intimate setting in which to hear from the guest of honor. To request an invitation, get more information, or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please email Executive Director Denyse Cardozo ([email protected]).
