Consortium for IT Software Quality to Host Cyber Resilience Summit

The Consortium for IT Software Quality™ (CISQ™) today announced its return to Washington, D.C. as host of its fourth annual cyber event, Cyber Resilience Summit, which will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Hyatt Reston Town Center in Reston, Virginia. The Summit will bring defense, government and industry leaders together to discuss IT/cyber risk standards for bolstering security and resiliency in software-intensive systems. Registration is open to the public and costs $195 USD. Admission for government officials is complimentary.

The afternoon will feature a highly anticipated IT Acquisition Workshop. In the first session, participants will learn how to incorporate cyber rsk requirements into vendor contracts to improve IT/cyber outcomes. Joe Jarzombek, former Director for Software & Supply Chain Assurance, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will lead the Workshop. The second session will focus on demonstrating compliance with federal directives for cyber risk management.

Three panels are scheduled throughout the day: "Titans of Cyber Panel: Insights from the Front Lines of the Cyber Risk Management Battle", "Ensuring the Resiliency of Software-Intensive Systems" and "FITARA Panel: Empowering CIOs to Drive Down Software Risk."
