Phase One Wins Major GSA Salesforce Vehicle and Focuses on Talent Acquisition

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Phase One (www.pocg.com) is one of six federal contractors to win a spot on the highly anticipated GSA Salesforce Implementation, Integration and Support Services (SIISS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The GSA SIISS BPA can replace agency-specific contracts to reduce both contract duplication and administration costs. With this latest win, Phase One has solidified its role as the go-to integrator in the federal market.

"This is a historical shift in IT strategy for the Federal government. Nothing in the last 20 years has addressed application layers that are way too costly and not able to be protected within reasonable cost. I think that the Federal sector is ready to truly embrace radical application modernization," says Jerad Speigel, CEO of Phase One.

The $503 million SIISS vehicle is open to all federal agencies. It will leverage the Salesforce integration, Agile development, data security, training, and coaching expertise of six teams incompetitive procurements. The goal of SIISS is to consolidate the federal government's Salesforce technical development, operations and maintenance, and implementation strategy requirements into one procurement vehicle.

In anticipation of the expected increase in Salesforce opportunities, Phase One also announced that Tiffany Ballve, ACIR, has joined the global IT firm as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to support their growing needs for highly skilled developers. Ballve leaves similar roles at competitors Appian and Acumen Solutions where she built impressive talent acquisition organizations.

"I'm excited to be at Phase One and back in the Salesforce community. There's a great amount of opportunity here and I'm excited to see what the future holds for us," says Ballve, "the buy-in from Phase One's leadership team is quite impressive and will help drive us forward as we look to bring on the best talent that the Cyber and Salesforce communities have to offer."

Ballve has held high-level recruiting positions for several firms in the area including Appian, Acumen Solutions, and Freddie Mac, and BoozAllen Hamilton. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from George Mason University.
