Scott Cole & Associates Files Class Action Lawsuit Over Volkswagen Emissions FraudA class action lawsuit was filed on January 19, 2016 by Scott Cole & Associates, APC (News - Alert) on behalf of plaintiffs Darin Petersen, et al., against Volkswagen in connection with its use of illegal software to cheat U.S. emissions standards for nearly a half million domestic vehicles. This case joins the scores of individual and class actions already filed against the automaker, many of which having been consolidated in San Francisco and assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Charles R. Breyer pursuant to a judicial panel's decision reached last month.
