Magnetic Expands Leadership Team with New Operations and Sales Roles

NEW YORK, Dec. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketing technology company Magnetic (www.magnetic.com), announced today that Walt Cheruk, Paul McCarthy and Lauren Dubick will join its expanding team as SVP of Agency Sales & Development, VP of People Operations, and General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer respectively.

"Magnetic has grown enormously over the past several years, and adding these key executive positions helps us ensure growth will continue while also supporting the tremendous group of people who are here already," said Magnetic CEO James Green. "Each has tremendous expertise in their respective fields and will be a huge asset to Magnetic."

Magnetic is adding Cheruk to lead its agency business in North America and to grow and support their technology capabilities. Prior to Magnetic, Cheruk served as VP of Agency & Media Development at [x+1], where his responsibilities included leading agency relationships and media development. Cheruk has also held leadership positions at Carat, Dentsu Aegis, Publicis, National Geographic, Hearst and Discovery Communications.

In his new role as VP of People Operations, McCarthy will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, all initiatives related to supporting company culture and steering Magnetic's workplace engagement strategy. Prior to joining Magnetic, McCarthy held the position of VP, Global Head of Talent Management at LivePerson. During his seven-year tenure, he held three leadership roles and was a significant driver and architect of transformative culture and talent initiatives during periods of tremendous global growth.

"Company culture and the people working here are the core of what makes Magnetic so great. We are thrilled to have Paul join the team as we continue to grow and develop the company's infrastructure," said Green.

Dubick joins Magnetic as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer. Before Magnetic, she was in consumer protection and antitrust litigation at Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer. She also previously served as a trial attorney with the Antirust Division of the United States Department of Justice, where she investigated and prosecuted complex, multi-jurisdictional violations of criminal and civil antitrust laws with a focus on finance and technology.

"Lauren began her career as a software developer before moving into law, an attribute that makes her a perfect fit for a technology company like Magnetic," said Green. "She will use her firm grasp on the law, technology and how the government thinks and operates to help us fine tune our data strategy."
