First Foundation Renews Its Philanthropic Initiative to Help Local CharitiesFirst Foundation Inc. Beginning its fourth year, First Foundation's program has awarded $2.5 million in funding and in-kind services to charities located in Southern California, Las Vegas, Hawaii and, beginning in 2016, extends the program into Northern California. The purpose of the initiative is to help charitable organizations increase their capacity for sustainable growth. Supporting services include assistance in fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship, gift planning design, staff and board training, campaign planning, board building, development of critical policies and protocols, organizational planning, and ensuring best practices in cash management, investment policies, and strategies.
