CompTIA Announces New Space Enterprise Council LeadershipWASHINGTON, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, today announced the newly elected leadership of the Space Enterprise Council. The committee is will be chaired by Rosanna Sattler, a partner at Posternak Blankstein & Lund, LLP. Matthew Jones, Director, C4ISR & Advanced Technology, Government Operations, The Boeing Company, will serve as the new vice-chair. The Space Enterprise Council aims to provide U.S. Companies with opportunities to develop and promote policies and programs that enable the U.S. to continue as an emerging leader in the space marketplace field. Ms. Sattler currently chairs the firm's Space Law and Telecommunications Group with experience in contract and property rights, risk management, liability, insurance and regulatory requirements involved in space-related activities. In her 32-year career, she has earned a national reputation representing companies in high-profile complex commercial disputes, as well as insurance coverage matters. She regularly provides consulting services to businesses regarding insurance, liabiity and contract matters, as well as compliance with federal and state laws and regulations "With recent advances in technology, this is an exciting time for the field of space law," said Ms. Sattler. In this position, he leads support for C4ISR activities in the Washington, DC area, with a focus on the Electronics & Information Solutions (E&IS) Division. He also provides focus on Position, Navigation, & Timing (PNT) pursuits such as GPSIIF, OCS/OCX programs, Future GPS (GPS-III+, NAVSAT and Alternate GPS Payloads) campaigns, and other future PNT initiatives. In addition, he leads the Government Operations interface with customers such as DARPA and NOAA on advanced space technology and satellite systems.
