Advertising Age Names Rise Interactive a Best Place to WorkCHICAGO, Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rise Interactive, a leading digital marketing and analytics agency, was named one of the nation's 50 Best Places to Work in Advertising & Media by Advertising Age. The selection process was based on nominations and employee survey responses, and evaluated based on criteria such as hiring practices, benefits packages, salaries, office perks, and workplace environment and design. Advertising Age received a record number of responses for this year's competition, and Rise was the only Chicago-headquartered agency named to the list. In awarding this distinction, Advertising Age specifically highlighted Rise's supportive work culture and its "energizing and motivating" nvironment. The agency also has an open, collaborative space and offers a number of learning and growth opportunities for its employees. "As always, the competition was tough. Out of the hundreds of companies who applied, we're calling out more honorees than ever before. Fifty big shops, independents, agencies, ad tech, and media companies earned recognition for being leaders in recruiting, retaining, and cultivating talent," said Ken Wheaton, editor of Advertising Age. "At the end of the day, all these organizations are in the talent business and they're doing it right. They're finding interesting, relevant, and often unexpected ways to create cultures and work environments that keep employees engaged." "It's an incredible honor to be named to Ad Age's esteemed list. At Rise, our employees generate our culture, as opposed to just absorbing it. They are truly our biggest assets and we want to make sure they look forward to coming to work each day," said Scott Conine, Rise's senior vice president of operations. "We have some of the sharpest minds in the industry and we continue our commitment to cultivating an environment where they can grow and succeed." This distinction adds to Rise's growing list of workplace honors. The agency was named to this year's Chicago Tribune list of Top 100 Workplaces, and has been recognized as one of nation's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For two years in a row. Submissions were evaluated by Advertising Age research partner Buck Consultants LLC. With nearly a century of experience in employee and human resource consulting, Buck measured aspects of the workplace environment that contribute to an engaged staff, including matters such as fairness of pay, vacation time, relationships with management and co-workers, career development and other workplace issues. Any agency, ad tech or media company with more than 40 full-time employees in the U.S. was eligible.
