Corbis Announces Two New Executive Appointments


Corbis, a Bill Gates (News - Alert) company, today announced that it has named Brian Cohee as Chief Technology Officer in June of this year and Greg Isaacs as Senior Vice President of Native and Entertainment in August of this year. Both hires will significantly accelerate the Bill Gates company's development of next generation licensing and native advertising strategies.

Based in Seattle, Cohee is responsible for delivering the technological solutions that drive the business forward including advertising models and technologies, media systems, and supporting the ongoing transformation of Corbis. Isaacs will manage product strategy, product development and content development for the Branded Entertainment Network (BEN), Splash and Publisher AdTech businesses.

Cohee joins Corbis with more than twenty five years of experience in the technology space. He most recently was a cofounder of Mixpo, an advertising software company that creates digital video and social media marketing solutions. Brian oversaw all engineering and product management efforts and provided thought leadership on operational and strategic issues. Before joining Mixpo, Brian brought his experience and innovation to Internet trailblazers Netscape and RealNetworks (News - Alert), and most recently Wavelink and Trumba. Brian has a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford University, M.S. from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. from Whitman College.

Isaacs joins Corbis with more than fifteen years of experience in the digital media space beginning at eBay as the Director of eBay Developers Program. He has also served as the Vice President and General Manager of AT&T (News - Alert) Interactive and the Vice President and General Manager of Digital Media at the National Football League. Greg has a BA from Brandeis University, a General Course degree from the London School of Economics and a MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
