Event #1

Online Panel: Continuous Discussion (#c9d9) – Episode 28: Docker & Containers in Your CD Pipeline

Continuous Discussions is an open forum for discussing Agile, DevOps and CD. It is held as a live online panel and everyone is invited. Container technology promises to provide version-able, environment-independent application services in a snap. However, the tasks and tools involved in creating, validating, promoting and delivering Docker containers into production environments are many, complex and time-consuming. Learn how to successfully incorporate Docker as part of an end-to-end pipeline.

Event #2

Conference: Anders Wallgren, Electric Cloud's CTO, speaks at DevOps Summit West: "Go All the Way with Agile: From Agile to DevOps to Continuous Delivery – How to Evolve Your Software Delivery"

To build on the success of Agile, which started in the development organization, DevOps and Continuous Delivery have emerged to help connect development with IT operations (mainly through the introduction of automation) to support and amplify agility, responsiveness and faster time-to-market throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

In this session, attendees will learn how to embrace DevOps and Continuous Delivery in a manner that aligns with existing Agile practices; obtain tips for assessing the current state of delivery success; and, garner strategies for identifying a starting point for DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

Event #3

Conference:  Anders Wallgren speaks at ThingsExpo: "Connected  Teams, Connected Code and the Connected Device: The Challenges of IoT Software Delivery"

Developing software for the Internet of Things (IoT) comes with its own set of challenges. Security, privacy and unified standards are a few of the key issues. In addition, each IoT product is comprised of (at least) three separate application components: the software embedded in the device, the back-end service, and the mobile application for the end user's controls.

Wallgren's presentation will cover how to coordinate the diverse moving parts that must come together when developing an IoT product or updating each of its components.

Event #4

Conference: Anders Wallgren speaks at DevOps Conference East: "Evolve Your Development Practices: Agile to DevOps to Continuous Delivery"

Many organizations have successfully implemented agile methodologies to speed up software delivery.

Event #5

Online Panel: Continuous Discussion (#c9d9) – Episode 29: Security and Compliance Requirements as part of your DevOps processes

This episode brings experts together to dive into best practices and tips for baking-in security measures and  ensuring compliance and auditability as part of their DevOps processes- which is particularly critical for enterprise adoption of DevOps and addressing Information Security concerns.
