Axiell Gathers 150 Museum Experts at the Penn Museum

Axiell, the leading collections management software vendor to museums, libraries and archives globally, is pleased to announce the opening of the North American User Conference and National History Special Interest Group at the Penn Museum. The three-day event will gather more than 150 museum experts and archivists for discussions on future strategies and upcoming developments in the cultural sector. The delegates will get insight into digitization, online engagement, museum management, data management and best practices for Axiell's suite of collection management solutions.

Axiell is the global market leader with more than 3000 customers in the cultural sector and 18 offices worldwide. In North America, Axiell has 200 customers and renowned institutions such as The Penn Museum, National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of American History, who will speak at the event.

"I am extremely pleased to welcome so many delegates to the conference. Including our global conference in Washington, DC last year, this is the 10th time we have hosted the event in orth America and it is an important opportunity for our community to discuss how museums can evolve, leverage their core assets and create value for the public," says Chris Fincham, Managing Director Axiell ALM North America.

The collection is the core asset at museums, libraries and archives, who are now looking for ways to make the most of that asset. In response to that trend, the agenda will cover best practices for how the Axiell suite of collection management solutions, EMu, Mimsy, Calm and Adlib, can be leveraged to support the museums, libraries and archives' vision of enriching the collection and making it accessible.
