Gust Rosenfeld Licenses Relativity for Processing through Production

CHICAGO and PHOENIX, Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C. has licensed Relativity for in-house use. Gust Rosenfeld, founded in Phoenix nearly 100 years ago, has extensive litigation experience and an executive committee dedicated to ensuring the firm leverages advanced technology to serve their clients.

As a comprehensive e-discovery platform, Relativity allows users to create and automate custom workflows, take advantage of a complete set of text analytics capabilities including computer-assisted review, and make use of fully integrated processing capabilities—so case teams can ingest data and begin review quickly without leaving the system. Gust Rosenfeld can also build custom applications within the software to manage and search all types of case-related data and information.

"We looked for an end-to-end platform to keep our clients' data in one system from processing through production—leading to time savings for our firm and clients," said Rick Hood, capital partner at Gust Rosenfeld and executive committee member. "Relativity is not only going to improve efficiency, it's going to free up our attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff for new cases."

With a Relativity appliance—one of several ways customers can deploy the software—Gust Rosenfeld can access Relativity on-premises with a single engineered system that's plug-and-play. A Relativity appliance desn't require the IT resources that come with deploying the software on internal hardware—and is backed by software and hardware support from kCura—so Gust Rosenfeld can quickly get their on-site projects up and running.

"We wanted to offer Relativity in-house to retain control of our data, but without all the IT resources," said Robert Haws, capital partner and executive committee member. "The appliance was the perfect option for us."

"We're excited to work with Gust Rosenfeld to provide a seamless end-to-end experience for their customers," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "It's great to see them taking advantage of a range of Relativity features with the deployment method that works best for them."
