PlanetOne's Jake Schuman Named One of the "100 People You Don't Know But Should" by CRNPlanetOne Communications, the IT and telecom industry's preferred connectivity partner, today announced Jake Schuman, Partner Development Manager, has been recognized as one of the "100 People You Don't Know But Should" in the IT channel for 2015 by The Channel Company's CRN®. The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiled this list to celebrate under-the-radar channel-management team members from the industry's top vendors, distributors and business partners. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs and policies that support and drive the IT channel. Over the last few years, Jake has built a successful career within the IT channel, establishing a strong reputation for himself as a thinker, builder and a mover. He began his career in sales at CBeyond, a telecom and IT company recently acquired by Birch Communications, prior to joining Windstream (News - Alert) Communications, provider of voice and data network communications, and managed services, for businesses. During his tenure at Windstream, Jake was the youngest Enterpris Account Manager for the West Division. In 2014, alongside his father and PlanetOne CEO Ted Schuman, and Eric Cooke, PlanetOne's Senior Technology Advisor, Jake opened the firm's Southern California Division. "Jake is constantly finding new ways to connect with channel partners and help them uncover opportunities to grow leveraging PlanetOne's extensive portfolio of cloud, connectivity, voice, mobility and collaboration solutions," said Ted Schuman.
