NCI Supports National Cyber Security Awareness Month as 2015 Champion

NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today it is championing the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) for 2015. NCI joins a growing global effort among colleges and universities, businesses, government agencies, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals to promote online safety awareness. The company has been an active participant for several years.

Celebrated every October, National Cyber Security Awareness Month was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure everyone has the resources needed to stay safer and more secure online. As an official Champion, NCI recognizes its commitment to cybersecurity and online safety.

"NCI is proud to support the National Cyber Security Alliance's cyber awareness efforts," said Brian J. Clark, NCI's president and CEO. "As a federal government contractor, we have an elevated awareness and regard for cybersecurity vigilance. We have provided innovative cybersecurity and information assurance solutions and services to our government customers for more than 25 years, and look forward each year to extending our efforts to raise awareness amongst our employees and our community on the importance of remaining vigilant to online dangers."

Coordinated and led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Department of Homeland Security, NCSAM has grown exponentially since its inception, reaching consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions and young people across the nation and internationally. This year marks the 12th year of NCSAM.

"The Champion Program is a vital part of making National Cyber Security Awareness Month a success each year," said Michael Kaiser, executive director of the National Cyber Security Alliance. "We are thankful to our 2015 Champion organizations for their support and commitment to our shared responsibility of promoting cybersecurity and online safety awareness."
