Auction.com Hires Norman Happ As Chief Revenue Officer For Commercial Real Estate Division

IRVINE, Calif and SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Auction.com, LLC, the nation's leading online real estate marketplace, today announces the hiring of Norman Happ as chief revenue officer, in a move that further strengthens the company's leadership team in commercial real estate. Happ will work out of Auction.com's Silicon Valley office and report to Gordon Smith, general manager of Auction.com's commercial real estate division.

Happ comes to Auction.com from Intuit, where he most recently served as go-to-market vice president overseeing sales, marketing and business development within the Small Business Division. During his tenure there, he also served as vice president of sales and director of sales and support across SMB products. Prior to joining Intuit, Norman was vice president of inside sales at H&R Block, which he joined in 2002 as the chief of staff for the CEO. He also spent several years at innovative technology firms, including computer software solutions company Anachron from 1999 to 2002 as co-founder and vice president. He is a member of and an investor in Sand Hill Angels, an investing and advising group dedicated to the formation and growth of technology startup companies.
