Huawei Contributes to NTCA 2015 Fall Conference


PLANO, Texas, Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei is sponsoring NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association's 2015 Fall Conference and will moderate a roundtable discussion at the event, taking place September 19-23 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston, Mass.

Huawei's George Reed, Senior Vice President of Solutions and Marketing, will moderate the following roundtable discussion:

  • Utilizing Hybrid Technology to Engineer Creative Solutions (Sept. 22, 1:30 p.m.2:15 p.m.): Due to widespread geography, challenging terrain and varying population densities, service providers face many challenges in delivering high-quality broadband services. Attendees will hear about real life experiences in applying combinations of wired and wireless, fiber optic and cable, the hybrid solutions that tackle broadband delivery in rural markets. For the presentations and follow on discussion, Mr. Reed will be joined by:

    • Dave Dengel, CEO, Copper Valley Telecom

Huawei will also have a display at the conference's "Rural Is Cool Reception and Vendor Showcase" networking reception from 5:30 p.m.7:00 p.m. on September 22.
