SPIRIT DSP, the world's #1 voice and video over IP engines provider serving more than 1 billion users in 100+ countries, announced today four years of mutually beneficial partnership with FRITTĀ (First Research Institute of Telecommunications), a part of Datang Telecom Group - a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment company with 8 billion dollar assets and 30 thousands employees. For 4 years SPIRIT supported multiple new mobile platforms and web browsers.

September 2011:

SPIRIT first licensed to FRITT, one of the largest developers of emergency communications solutions in China, SPIRIT's HD videoconferencing software.

SPIRIT's VideoMost video conferencing server SDK is a part of FRITT's server and mobile client side applications. Thanks to SPIRIT's software FRITT's emergency management customers have the unique ability to conduct HD-quality, multi-point voice and videoconferencing across popular mobile devices and PC. SPIRIT's high-level APIs allows FRITT to focus on its core competency of developing life-critical applications and bring them to market quickly with the assurance that they will meet the critical, high-quality communication needs of emergency workers.

September 2015:

FRITT extended the agreement with SPIRIT for yet another year.

VideoMost SDK is a software videoconferencing server and mobile clients for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android (News - Alert) and iOS, complete with SIP and XMPP signaling, firewall/NAT traversal, document sharing, white board, conference recording, transcoding and more. It supports 500 concurrent video channels per $4K PC server and enables 100 interactive video participants in a conference room, plus video broadcast to 1500 people.
