U.S. Cellular Launching Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 on Aug. 21


U.S. Cellular (News - Alert) (NYSE: USM) today is announcing that it will begin selling the stunning new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 smartphones in stores and online on Aug. 21. The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 have brilliant 5.7" Quad HD Super AMOLED displays, and both devices will be available for $0 down with U.S. Cellular's installment pricing. The company will offer the 32GB version of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 in black, along with a 64GB version of the Note5, also available in black.

With its innovative dual-edge screen, the Galaxy S6 edge+ is an ultra-slim device with a large screen that gives you a bigger entertainment experience for your movies, games, photos and documents. Its sleek bezel and metal frame design lets you do everything with one hand, and the edge screen gives you a shortcut to your favorite contacts and apps from any screen. The Galaxy S6 edge+ also features live video broadcasting that lets you take live video and stream it via YouTube (News - Alert)TM, letting viewers see exactly what you're seeing in real time.

The reimagined and more powerful Note5 has a thin metal and glass design and features an upgraded S Pen that is only available on Note devices. With SideSync, you can easily and quickly drag and drop photos and documents between your Note5 and most PC and Mac devices, or even respond to a phone call or text message from your computer.
