Grocery Haulers Chooses Net Access Cloud For Vital Infrastructure Migration

CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., Aug. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Net Access, a leading provider of hybrid data center solutions, today announced that Woodbridge, N.J. based Grocery Haulers, Inc. (GHI) will be leveraging their FLEXCloud platform as the backbone for their proprietary G-Haul system. Grocery Haulers provides fully integrated logistics solutions and dedicated transportation services to various sectors of the food industry, from individual suppliers to regional supermarket chains.

GHI will migrate their G-Haul system, which coordinates all dispatch and compensation activities using live GPS and routing data, from their corporate headquarters to the FLEXCloud platform in the Net Access Parsippany II data center.  FLEXCloud offers GHI a pool of reserved compute resources that they can adjust at any time via an online management tool, allowing GHI's administrators to maintain control of their infrastructure, with the ability to rapidly provision compute, memory, networking and storage as needed.  G-Haul will have ample resources available at all times, and FLEXCloud will automatically optimize, balance and migrate workloads across multiple physical hosts without disruption, ensuring the highest level of performance for GHI.

"Our G-Haul system is mission critical to our business," sai Bob Helmer, Vice President of Information Services at Grocery Haulers. "Everything we do - from scheduling to dispatch to compensation - depends on it, so we needed a platform that offered us flexibility, security, high performance and easily scalable resources.  FLEXCloud addresses all those requirements."

"By moving to the cloud, GHI can now scale their IT infrastructure more easily to meet future growth requirements at a fraction of the cost of dedicated hardware and related maintenance," added Scott Palsgrove, VP of Sales at Net Access. "This move also eliminates their concerns about environmental issues at their location, such as power outages, potentially causing system downtime."

"Net Access' Parsippany II data center is a highly secure, compliant environment and a natural location to deploy a comprehensive, high performance cloud-enabled managed solution," said Jason VanderPloog, SVP of Operations at Net Access. "Our FLEXCloud platform offers GHI the service options necessary to meet and exceed their short term and long term requirements, and is backed by our world-class support team."
