RealTek Holdings, LLC Announces Appointment of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer

HOUSTON, Aug. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RealTek Holdings, LLC, announces the additions of David Boatner, chief executive officer, and Murshid Khan, chief operating officer, to the company's executive leadership team. In addition to these roles, Mr. Boatner will serve as chairman of the board, and Mr. Khan will serve on the RealTek Holdings board of directors.

As CEO, Mr. Boatner brings over 25 years of executive leadership, sales, marketing, technology and real estate experience. He has held leadership roles as president, chief operating officer and senior vice president with multiple telecommunications and technology-based Fortune 500 companies, including WilTel Communications, McLeodUSA and Splitrock Services. He was instrumental in the initial public offerings of McLeodUSA and Splitrock Services.

Mr. Boatner's vision and entrepreneurial successes carried over to the real estate industry where he founded Boatner & Associates. He has authored numerous transactions in commercial and residential real estate and as a developer of self-storage facilities. In 2006, he brokered the single largest land transaction for a master planned community in the history of Galveston Island. Furthermore, Mr. Boatner co-founded Connect Realty.com, Inc. and began serving as president and CEO in January of 208 until forming RealTek Holdings.

Murshid Khan comes to RealTek Holdings, LLC from Stewart Information Services Corporation where he served as chief information officer (CIO) since April of 2007. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of information technology, security & compliance, strategy & PMO, IT shared services, offshore centers, and global procurement. Prior to joining Stewart, he held various executive and senior IT leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, ADC Telecommunications and Scientific-Atlanta.

In addition to his extensive background, Murshid is a regular speaker at numerous industry conferences and seminars and serves as an advisory board member for multiple technology companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
