Spotlight on NVM Express at Flash Memory Summit Aug. 11-13, in Booth #702 and Onstage


NVM Express, Inc., the organization that developed the NVM Express specification for accessing solid-state drives (SSDs) on a PCI (News - Alert) Express (PCIe) bus, will have a prominent presence at the upcoming Flash Memory Summit next week in Santa Clara, California, as befits the growing interest in NVM Express technology.

In addition to the information and product demonstrations available in the NVM Express Booth, #702, NVM Express representatives will offer important educational sessions in a two-part Forum on Tuesday's program, "NVMe and PCIe SSDs." NVMe member companies are also prominently featured in other parts of the conference program, such as keynote addresses and technical sessions.

Specifics for Forum A-11 on Tuesday morning:

Description: This session will include presentations on the current state of NVMe, its management interface, its use in fabric-based systems, and its security features. The focus will be on uses in data center, enterprise, and client systems.

With NVM Express products shipping in increasing numbers, the ecosystem momentum around NVMe technology will be showcased in the NVM Express Technology Community at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, August 18-20. The Community experience will highlight product availability and the breadth of industry investment driving this transformative technology, with demonstrations by 16 companies. In addition, the IDF conference agenda includes several sessions dedicated to NVMe, both speaker-led presentations and "Tech Chats."
