Arizona Technology Council Elects Four New Members to its World-Class Board of Directors


In a unanimous vote during a regular session of the Arizona Technology Council's Board of Directors' meeting on July 23, 2015, four new directors were elected to serve in three-year terms. The Arizona Technology Council's current Board of Directors includes 36 members, five of whom are officers.

The Arizona Technology Council's executive officers and board of directors serve in an advisory and fiduciary role, by representing the interests of the state's technology industries in the Council's strategic planning and on-going operations. This translates into topnotch ideas and wisdom that turn into executable programs that benefit all Council members.

The newly elected directors are:

  • Mike Chadwick, managing director, CKS Securities, LLC: Mike has over 20 years of technology and business management experience, primarily focused on hyper growth and scalable enterprises. Mike most recently spent two years learning the world of private equity as the senior managing director of YAM Capital, the private equity arm for Bob Parsons. Prior to YAM Capital, Mike served as a vice president of technology and CTO of the technology business unit at GoDaddy.com.
  • Alex J. Iuorio, senior vice president, Supplier Marketing and Business Development, Avnet, Inc.: Alex is a 30 year veteran of the high technology distribution industry. He has held various positions within Avnet and prior to that with Hall-Mark Electronics, acquired by Avnet in 1993. Prior to corporate, Alex's last field role was as vice president area director for the West, which included Avnet's Silicon Valley operations during its unprecedented growth period - an experience and a time like no other in our industry's history.
  • Jasen Meece, managing director, Advisory - Information Protection, KPMG LLP: An expert in cybersecurity, Jasen is a dynamic results-oriented executive who leverages technology products and consulting service to achieve business value-based transformation efforts. Prior to KPMG, Jasen was a founder and president of Quebera Solutions, where he set strategic direction and established the company as a trusted advisor for Access Management, Cloud Security and Federated Solutions.
  • Bill Ponseti, president and CEO, InEight Inc.: As CEO of InEight, Bill has applied his vision, knowledge and vast experience to bring together best-in-class technologies for the engineering and construction, oil & gas, mining, utilities and other project-centric industries. Under Bill's leadership, InEight has acquired a number of companies, including Hard Dollar Corporation, Aeka Consulting and et alia. He also served as the architect for creating a recent strategic OEM partnership with SAP. Bill holds a Master's Degree in Quantum (News - Alert) Physics and a B.S. in Theoretical Physics, and was also awarded a Ph.D. in Quantum Mechanics.
