MicroPact is a Premier Sponsor of the annual BPM Summit, which brings together IT leaders from commercial and government sectors as well as leading researchers and analysts.

MicroPact's Solution Provider Session will feature an in-depth case study delivered by Thomas A. Betro, a former Director of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and current executive Vice President of NTT DATA Federal Services.  NTT DATA is a global information technology services firm. MicroPact's presentation will take place at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 in Maryland D Room inside the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

MicroPact also will host a Vendor User Roundtable titled "Launching Business Transformation through Custom Prototypes and Proofs of Concept" at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Maryland 6 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. This interactive discussion will be led by Michael Cerniglia, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of MicroPact, and focus on what works, what doesn't, and what to expect from vendors when it comes to custom prototypes and proof of concept software development.

Mr. Betro served as Director of NCIS from 2006 until retiring from public service in 2009. As director of the agency, he led the expansion of the Law Enforcement Information Exchange System to more than 30,000 law enforcement professionals across 800 federal, state, and local agencies. Before being named the third civilian to hold the post, he held several other executive positions for the agency in addition to serving at the national level as the Acting National Cunterintelligence Executive, a special adviser to the President.

While leading technology initiatives at NCIS, Mr. Betro is credited with driving transformational change and challenging existing organizational approaches, behaviors and tools. He understands how vital it is for government enterprises to establish agile organizations to drive the development and deployment of better solutions. Mr. Betro will share his personal experiences and discuss valuable details regarding how all enterprises can leverage the entellitrak® platform for Case Management and Business Process Management (BPM) in order to facilitate transformational change.

The U.S. Navy selected the entellitrak platform to serve as the Naval Justice Information System (NJIS) – an enterprise system supporting the entire life cycle of criminal and military justice cases in the Navy and Marine Corps – for NCIS. The enterprise solution, which will support as many as 5,000 concurrent users, will provide law enforcement investigative case management, workflow tracking, and incident reporting services to NCIS. The case management software system will consolidate the functionality of multiple law enforcement, judicial and corrections systems within the Navy and Marines including the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corp. (JAG).

As a web-based COTS platform with built-in investigative and law enforcement features, entellitrak can be quickly deployed via software configuration rather than custom coding. By embracing entellitrak, The Navy was able to create an agile organization in conjunction with the development of NJIS, which was developed in less than 9 months – years earlier than originally thought possible by the Navy.

"We designed the entellitrak platform and the entellitrak case management frameworks to leverage best practices and accelerate a healthy return on investment for organizations of all sizes within federal, state and local governments as well as the commercial markets," said Kris Collo, CEO, President and Founder of MicroPact. "We're pleased with our work for the U.S. Navy, and excited to share details about this case management deployment with attendees at this year's BPM Summit."

The entellitrak platform provides comprehensive solutions to enterprise customers with fully integrated Document Management, Mobile, Natural language Analytics, escan, and efile modules that provide intelligent on-ramps and off-ramps for knowledge workers so that they can manage the myriad of data types. The entellitrak platform unifies and streamlines work within a single, Section 508 compliant, web-based interface. End-to-end functionality – from day-to-day case management and process management to advanced application development and programming – gives organizations the flexibility they need to deploy and maintain the applications that are transforming digital business.

All MicroPact-hosted solutions meet the stringent requirements of the federal government's FedRAMPsm  program, which provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud-based services and products. The program was developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Defense (DOD), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
