Michael Capellas Joins Kony Advisory Board


Kony, Inc., the leading enterprise mobility company, today announced the appointment of Michael D. Capellas to Kony's newly-formed Advisory Board, effective immediately. As an advisory board member, Capellas brings a rich and diverse set of business strategy and technology industry experience and expertise to Kony. He joins golf icon Ben Crenshaw who was appointed to Kony's Advisory Board in June.

Capellas' career spans more than 30 years in the technology industry. Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of VCE, a joint venture between Cisco, EMC, with investments from Intel (News - Alert) and VMware; CEO of First Data; President of HP, and Chairman and CEO of Compaq.

Capellas is widely known and respected for his unique combination of expertise that spans across business strategy, technology, and large-scale operations. He is currently the founder and CEO of Capellas Partners, a strategic technology advisory firm. In addition to his new advisory role at Kony, Capellas serves on the board of directors for Cisco (News - Alert), Flextronics, Mulesoft and Tenable Network Security.
