VUBIQUITY Partners with Turner Broadcasting for Delivery of Live C3 On Demand ContentVUBIQUITY, the leading global provider of premium content services, today announced a long-term partnership with Turner Broadcasting to capture and process Turner's C3 (News - Alert) and D4 VOD content and distribute it to the On Demand market. Together the companies developed a first-of-its-kind, innovative product that automates, tags and identifies content for C3 capture in high resolution, mezzanine format, and prepares it for immediate VOD and dynamic ad insertion. Beginning September, VUBIQUITY will acquire live, high-quality broadcast feeds directly from Turner capturing C3 shows based on the linear schedule using a newly released SCTE specification. Through live-to-VOD processing, VUBIQUITY can offer expanded services, such as Catchup TV, where all shows are recorded for one or more channels. The agreement aims to fill a void in the television industry by delivering this model for a next-generation management system, allowing networks easy and efficient capturing and processing of viewership. Consumers will have the option to watch more content, shortly after it first airs, potentially eliminating the hassle of recording shows on a DVR.
