Hypori Announces ACE Product 3.1 Release: New 'Seamless App' Mode

Today Hypori unveiled the release of the ACE Product Suite 3.1 featuring 'Seamless App' mode. The new 'Seamless app' mode delivers any unmodified app as a secure service to any mobile device.

The 'Seamless App' mode provides secure on-demand access to hosted Android (News - Alert) applications leaving no data-at-rest on the physical device. Hypori leverages its Virtual Mobile Infrastructure platform to provide secure remote access to any app while ensuring separation from mobile endpoints.

With seamless apps, icon shortcuts are presented just like any other mobile app, shielding iOS and Windows mobile users from exposure to an unfamiliar Android operating system. To see a user interface demo, visit: https://vimeo.com/134088893.

"The introduction of seamless apps is another example of our dedication to user experience," said Brian Vetter, CTO of Hypori. "Users enjoy the same look and feel they are accustomed to and see only the hosted apps, regardless of the OS they have chosen."

"At Hypori we seek to optimize the ser experience while maintaining the highest levels of security," said Justin Marston, CEO of Hypori. "We want to make it easy for any IT admin to dynamically provision seamless apps to users."

The Hypori platform ensures that seamless apps benefit from the same security capabilities as a full virtual mobile device. These include two factor authentication, FIPS compliant TLS 1.2 encryption, no data at rest on the end point, and protection of the app and its backend services by keeping it behind the firewall on the enterprise network. The simple, intuitive user interface on the ACE admin portal allows for seamless apps to easily be added or removed and these mechanisms can also be accessed programmatically via REST APIs.

With support for multiple platforms as well as easy integration with off-the-shelf mobile apps and EMM technologies, Hypori's highly scalable thin-client Android-based infrastructure helps both commercial and public sector organizations bridge the gap between mobile productivity and mobile security.

Hypori was founded by an experienced technology team with deep roots in mobility, security and Android development. Hypori's VMI platform, co-developed with the U.S. Department of Defense, shields enterprises from the risks of BYOD by separating physical devices from sensitive applications and data. The solution gives users remote access to a virtual mobile device running in the cloud. Users can access their apps from iPhones, iPads and Android devices -- ensuring greater security and compliance for organizations while providing a rich, responsive experience for end users.
