Qoints Wins N100The official winner of Northumberland's third annual N100 Startup Competition is Qoints: a startup that allows brand marketers to compare the results of their digital campaigns against their competition in real time and gain actionable intelligence from the data they collect. "This is about a scientific revolution in marketing," said Cory Rosenfield, Qoints CEO. "In today's world, brands need real digital marketing intelligence to quickly gain and defend their competitive edge." With the disruption of traditional digital advertising, many brands are opting to execute their strategies from in-house. Digital promotions such as contests, giveaways and loyalty programs are driving massive amounts of data-data which is highly valuable if leveraged properly. Using Qoints, marketers at every level of an organization can see teir campaigns in a single view, and drill down to determine which tactics make the difference between success and failure. Unlike traditional advertising (through mediums such as TV, radio and print) that have Nielsen, Kantar and other sources of competitive market intelligence, digital advertising has been a kind of black box. To address the problem, Qoints developed a platform to help marketers make the most of their data through collaborative, anonymous data pooling… in short, opting into a neutral, third-party benchmarking tool. The company is currently validating its technology through pilot initiatives with major agency and brand clients (with a focus on consumer packaged goods, automotive and retail brands). "Qoints promises to deliver on a major pipeline of business development and we look forward to being a part of their acceleration and future success," said Wendy Curtis, Executive Director of Northumberland CFDC-the organization that runs N100.
