ADM Tronics Contracted by Non-Profit Medical Healthcare Consortium for Development of Modular Medical Simulation Manikin


NORTHVALE, N.J., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ADM Tronics Unlimited, Inc. (OTCQB-ADMT) has been contracted to provide engineering and quality planning services for the development of a novel modular medical simulation manikin that could revolutionize medical simulation by providing a new integrated platform for medical and surgical training. The $1.6 Million contract was awarded to a non-profit medical consortium by the federal government with approximately over $228,000 of the contract for portions of the project being developed and supplied by ADMT. The project is scheduled to be completed by April 2016.

The modular medical simulation manikin is being designed to improve the quality and reliability of medical training by creating customizable, realistic manikin simulators that can be deployed in diverse multiple locations.

ADMT is providing comprehensive electronics engineering and development support for the interface and control system of the modular medical simulation manikin as well as providing quality control planning and documentation implementation for the overall project.

Its goal is to foster and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration among clinicians, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and industry to develop novel products and services addressing unmet clinical needs.
