Virgin Pulse Named a 2015 Best Place to Work by the Boston Business Journal

Virgin Pulse, the habits focused well-being company, today announced that the Boston Business Journal named the company as one of the "Best Places to Work" in Massachusetts for the second year in a row. The honor recognizes Virgin Pulse's (News - Alert) achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees.

With its award-winning technology platform, Virgin Pulse helps companies replenish their people with tools that build habits that matter. At Virgin Pulse, there's a company-wide commitment to changing lives for good, which translates into an environment full of engaged, enthusiastic employees who are passionate about the work they do each day. Virgin Pulse was one of more than 400 companies to qualify for consideration based on a two-stage nomination process and the results of employee-satisfaction surveys taken throughout March and April 2015.

"The whole team at Virgin Pulse is deeply committed to working with companies and helping them replenish their people with tools that help them build habits that matter," said Chris Boyce, CEO of Virgin Pulse. "Our team's honored to once again be recognized by Boston Business Journal as a 'Best Place to Work' and to be among a distinguished group of companies who believe in putting their people first. It's what we do, it's who we are, and we're thrilled to once again be recognized for walking the talk."

Virgin Pulse embodies the belief that if you take care of your employees, they'll take cre of your business. Beyond a robust suite of benefits including health coverage, flexible work arrangements, generous paid time off, and life insurance, the company makes it easy for employees to maintain their well-being. Employees have access to two gyms in the building and instructor-led classes like yoga and boot camp. Two kitchens stocked with healthy snacks, fruits, and veggies help make nutritious choices easy choices. The Virgin Pulse culture supports people in leading their healthiest, most fulfilling lives-both in and out of the office.

The survey project was launched in January by the Boston Business Journal in conjunction with market research firm Quantum (News - Alert) Workplace of Omaha, NE. Companies were evaluated on the results of more than 18,000 employee-satisfaction surveys. Employees answered questionnaires that addressed such factors as their pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement and relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
