What's Changed in CE over the Last Six Months?


CE Week kicks off tomorrow, providing media and NYC tech influencers with a record number of new products and an expanded, three-day conference program. Over 175 participating companies, from some of the top brands to unknown start-ups, will be showing what's new, while a program of over 35 conference sessions, keynotes and workshops will put what's new into mid-year 4Q context. CE Week Conferences are scheduled June 23-25, while CE Week Exhibits are scheduled June 24-25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion/Altman Building.

Global brands including Buick, Dolby, Epson, HP, House of Marley, Hyundai, iHome, LG Electronics (News - Alert), Onkyo, Pandora, Pioneer, Samsung, Seiki, Sony, TiVO, and Westinghouse are backing this year's show. New products on display at CE Week include:

Apira Science - The iGrow Hair Growth System is a wearable in-home use device that utilizes Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) to treat genetic hair loss. iGrow has been FDA cleared and is clinically proven to promote hair growth in both men and women.

Several companies will be announcing and debuting brand new products at the show including AfterShokz, Buick, clip&talk, Simple Living Technologies and Sleepace.

Media will have a sneak preview of the entire CE Week show floor at the official CE Week Media Breakfast, powered by ShowStoppers. The media-only breakfast is scheduled from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, June 24 before the show officially opens.

Putting all these new products into context, the three-day CE Week Conference Program will explore the latest trends in wearable technologies, digital health, 3D printing, augmented reality and beyond.

CE Week Conferences will begin on Tuesday, June 23 with deeper-dive sessions. The Connected Car Conference will focus on game-changing behind-the-wheel innovations (and will feature in-car demos by Buick, Pioneer and QNX/Maserati). Your Next TV and Your Next Audio Conferences will show the technologies that are enhancing the TV and audio experience for consumers. This program will include a High Dynamic Range Workshop with Joe Kane as well as breathtaking High-Resolution Audio Demos with Mark Waldrep.

Exhibitors, including Monster, Pioneer and Adlens, will make major product announcements during CE Week with press conferences and Sengled, Vivitek, Pioneer, HearNotes, clip&talk, Oomi, The Padcaster, Formlabs, NeoLab Convergence, Westinghouse and Monster will take to the CE Week Demo Stage for exciting demos and presentations.

Special events taking place during CE Week 2015 include the B&H Opening Night Cocktail Party, 10 Under 20 Awards Ceremony, the FashionWare Runway Show, Value Electronics Flat Panel TV Shootout, Musical Performance sponsored by ROLI, and America's Got Geek.
