"Oracle customers congregate at Kscope to learn about migration insights," said Jonathan Berry, CEO of Accelatis. "Migration is a major commitment, and this is the most important gathering of Oracle experts who can convey the land mines and how to navigate them." Migrating to Oracle 11.1.2.4 presents an opportunity for enterprises to take advantage of new functionality, performance improvements, and hardware options. Ensuring that testing is done along the way and validating assumptions while ensuring optimum performance are key to keeping projects of this scope on track, Berry said. "Yet u until now, no other independent company has benchmarked 11.1.2.4 nor provided a service that helps users interpret its impact on their organizations." The new migration and performance testing services use Accelatis' ExpressLoad™ testing software for smaller and medium-size configurations, and the full Accelatis Center of Excellence™ for the largest deployments of Oracle Hyperion. In addition to showcasing the company's product portfolio, Accelatis will have a presence in three different conference sessions. The first, Upgrading to 11.1.2.4, is presented by Nigel Poe, Assistant Director, Hyperion of Archer, Daniels, Midland, and Jonathan Berry (June 23, 9:45am). The session reveals how ADM, Accelatis, and CheckPoint, are teaming together to help ADM enjoy the latest Oracle Hyperion Software version on Exalytics. The second session, Rules Profiling at Dentsply International, is a case study, by Scott Sweezey Manager of Financial Systems at Dentsply (June 23, 4:45pm). This session will detail how Dentsply achieved substantial gains in consolidation and translation performance as well as a significant reduction in the size of its application database. And, Taking HFM Rules to the Next Level, co-presented by Tiffany Briseno and Teresa Kress of Summit Materials (June 24, 8:30am), demystifies rules-writing and conveys learning curve information, tips, and tricks.
