Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy to host in-person graduation on May 30CHOCTAW, Okla., May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 30, 113 high school seniors who learned online have been invited to turn the tassel in-person at the graduation ceremony for Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy (OVCA), a public online charter school serving students in grades K–12. OVCA is a public charter school authorized by the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board, although its students live throughout the state. "Our graduates have worked hard to reach this significant milestone," said Sheryl Tatum, head of school for OVCA. "We are so proud of their accomplishments!" At least twenty students in the matriculating class have been with OVCA since 9th grade.
