Koskie Minsky LLP Announces That It is Investigating Hydro One Billing Class Action

The class actions department of Koskie Minsky LLP today announced that it is investigating a potential class action concerning the billing practices of Hydro One.

On May 25, 2015, Ontario Ombudsman André Marin released a report on Hydro One billing and customer services. The Ombudsman's report identified numerous billing errors caused by glitches associated with a newly installed customer information system. This newly installed customer information system reportedly generated bills that were wrong, excessive, duplicated, unreasonably delayed or estimated based on unclear criteria.

Persons who were affected by Hydro One billing errors are encouraged to contact Garth Myers at Koskie Minsky LLP by telephone at (416) 595-2102 or by email at [email protected].

Koskie Minsky LLP, based in Toronto, is one of Canada's foremost class action, labour, employment and litigation firms. Its class actions group has been a national leader in class actions and has prosecuted many of the leading cases in the area.
