Govini Taps Tomaselli to Guide Public Sector Revenue Growth

WASHINGTON and SAN FRANCISCO, May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Govini, the leading business intelligence provider to companies that sell goods and services to the public sector, today announced that it has appointed DC technology industry veteran John Tomaselli as the company's first Chief Revenue Officer.  Govini, which already serves a client roster of the top government contractors, is investing more aggressively in the public sector market to track with strong growth and to maximize a new $20 million investment round.

Tomaselli previously served as chief operating officer at SAP National Security Services. During his tenure he led direct and indirect sales, business operations, and go-to-market strategy and execution. Prior to that role, he served as SAP's vice president of business analytics and data technology solutions for SAP Public Services, and other strategic vertical markets at SAP. He also held executive roles with P&L responsibility at Business Objects, Xerox and other leading technology firms.
