INTURN Announces Key Executive Appointments


INTURN, the first online B2B marketplace created specifically for brands to efficiently and easily sell end-of-season / excess inventory to retailers, today announced that it is expanding its management team with the appointment of former eBay (News - Alert) executive David Solomon as Chief Revenue Officer and former Amazon.com Customer Experience Specialist Tamara Adlin as Chief Experience Strategist. As part of the expansion, the Company also announced its new corporate headquarters at 33 West 17th Street.

"David's ability to rapidly assess and optimize business and market opportunities, coupled with Tamara's success in innovating the customer experience will be instrumental in our ongoing effort to streamline the buying/selling process of excess inventory with a B2B software solution that focuses on ease and usability," said Ronen Lazar, INTURN's CEO and Co-Founder. "As we continue to modernize the world of off-price inventory for apparel, footwear and accessories brands, we are thrilled to be expanding our expertise with such strong and proven industry talent."

Mr. Solomon joins INTURN with nearly 25 years of business development expertise, including more than 14 years at eBay Inc., where he lead Enterprise Business Development and Implementation across eBay's marketplace, PayPal and GSI units, and previously lead Business Development Sales, Operations and Finance at GSI Commerce (News - Alert). In his new role, Mr. Solomon is responsible for driving INTURN's global demand through new business development, strategic partnership and client relations, while leveraging his expertise in building high-performing teams to facilitate rapid growth and sustain value. Mr. Solomon holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.



Ms. Adlin joins INTURN as a recognized innovator in transforming the customer experience. She was previously a Customer Experience Team Manager at Amazon.com and went on to consult for a wide range of companies, such as renowned tech industry leaders including Apple, Facebook (News - Alert), and Zillow, to help solve both surface and systemic issues that affect the customer experience. Ms. Adlin is also the co-author of The Persona Lifecycle: Keeping People in Mind Throughout Product Design with Microsoft (News - Alert) executive John Pruitt, and The Essential Persona Lifecycle, published in May 2010. She has a Master's Degree in Technical Communication from UW.

In their new roles, Mr. Solomon and Ms. Adlin will report directly to Mr. Lazar and help drive growth of INTURN's innovative off-price inventory platform. As part of this effort, the Company announced that it is opening new corporate headquarters in New York City, located at 33 West 17th Street.
